So far Aperture is still working for me in High Sierra, much to my relief and pleasure. I don't do as much post-processing as I did in the past and so it is just fine having Aperture available for a quick crop-and-resize or minor cloning-out job when needed. Surely Luminar must be able to do this, but so far all I've found requires that I do the rotation and then manually handle the cropping, myself. Maybe that's a superior option to some people?
